All Ragdolls have gorgeous blue eyes and love to be held, hence their name for relaxing like a 'ragdoll' in your arms. Ragdolls are very 'trainable', learn quickly, and common breed trait is their ability to play 'fetch' like a dog (see our fun feline video page for proof!). Ragdolls are very social and love to be part of daily family activity unlike most cat breeds that prefer seclusion. They are a perfect cat for children, and get along well with non-aggressive dogs. The Ragdoll's only downfall is their lack of defense with no "fight" instinct. They are an indoor cat because of this.
Ragdolls coats are fur like (much like an angora rabbit), rather than hair, this means Little to NO matting, unlike most all other longhaired breeds. They are also to only long hair breed that require little to no grooming, resulting in huge savings from the groomers unlike all other long hair breeds.
After a lifelong love for these furry felines we now live in a world of Ragdolls.
